Zach Farmer (He/Him) is a New York-based scenic designer from Houston, Texas. He focuses heavily on the significance of craft and specific research in his design process to ground his work and provide authenticity in his storytelling. Trust and care with collaborators are integral to him in the process of executing fulfilling productions.
Works include A Doctor's Dilemma( Adapted by Tlaloc Rivas), The Moors, Pocatello (Connecticut Repertory Theatre ); Associate Scenic Design work with Alexander Woodward Downstate and Love, Love, Love (Studio); Assistant scenic design La Cage Aux Folles (BSC), Still (Sheen Center/Colt Coeur), and the world premiere of the Ballet Their Eyes Were Watching God (Collage Dance Collective).
He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from the University Of Connecticut and a BA in Theatre with a Minor in Environmental Science from Knox College, Galesburg, IL.
